High-Voltage DC Power and Charging Solutions for Electric Equipment
CCS and MCS charging interfaces and high-power distribution units are built for demanding use in work machines and heavy-duty vehicles. When charging, power distribution, and the powertrain are integrated as one engineered system, you get rugged reliability and integration-ready features.
Their names are inspired by Finland’s flowing nature: Puro (stream) and Koski (rapid), plus Runko (trunk), our HV power distribution unit.
Power distribution · S / M / L
Best for centralized HV distribution in prototype and small-series builds.
On-board MCS · up to 1500 kW
Best for high-utilization heavy-duty use cases where downtime must stay short.

Products shaped by the systems we integrate.
Two decades of electric powertrain integration have shown us where projects repeatedly get difficult: charging interfaces, high-voltage distribution, packaging, commissioning and service.
PURO, KOSKI and RUNKO turn these recurring integration needs into defined, integration-ready products. They can be used individually or as part of a complete Hevtec powertrain system built around the machine and its actual operating requirements.
The machine defines the system.
The products follow from that.
Where the product decisions came from
Years of integration work have exposed the same practical challenges across different machines: packaging, charging, HV distribution, controls and serviceability.
Those lessons now shape how we design our own products.
Part of a complete powertrain: Hevtec e-Kit
Energy storage, electric motor, inverter, thermal management, charging and HV power distribution, pre-configured as one system and sized to your machine’s duty cycle. Every component is validated in Hevtec’s own development environment before it goes into your machine.
Product status update
- Puro CCS interface: launched in June 2025 (IVT Expo Köln) and first deliveries installed in customer machines.
- Koski MCS interface: piloting starts Q3/2026 in a heavy duty truck in Finland.
- Runko PDU: product series specifications finalized (sizes S, M and L). First prototypes will be piloted in Q3/2026.
Questions about charging and power distribution
CCS or MCS, which should I choose?
Choose CCS for practical daily charging, including overnight. Choose MCS when daily energy demand is high and you need to recoup range within short stops during operations.
When do I need a PDU?
When you want centralized and reliable HV distribution, clear protection and a cleaner wiring architecture to speed up project lead time, commissioning and service. Read more about system integration →
