Modular Electrification Kit for Heavy Machinery

50% pre-configured from 70+ projects. 80% of the software is ready to integrate. What remains is built around your machine’s actual requirements.

Most electrification kit solutions found on the market lack true modularity. This means that the result is a system that compromises on motor sizing, battery chemistry, or control architecture to fit a predefined package.

Hevtec e-Kit starts from your machine’s actual duty cycle and operating conditions. Motor winding, battery chemistry, and system architecture are selected to match the application, not the other way around. The wrong motor winding alone can cost more than 10% in efficiency. The right selection can reach 96%.

Modular

50% of the kit is ready before your project starts. Field-proven component combinations built from 70+ real electrification projects.

Field-Proven

20+ applications. 70+ completed projects. Every component combination has been validated in real operating conditions.

Scalable

Motors 20–400 kW. Batteries 30–1000 kWh. Configured to your machine’s duty cycle, expands according to your needs

How our e-Kit works

  • Half the kit is pre-configured before your project starts. The rest is defined by your machine: duty cycle, application, and operating conditions.

  • Components are selected for your specific application. Every component is validated in Hevtec’s own development environment before being recommended.

  • 80% of the control software is field-proven and ready to integrate. That removes one of the most time-consuming parts of electric powertrain development from your critical path.

  • Wrong motor winding alone costs over 10% efficiency. Components are selected after duty cycle analysis, so the kit is sized for your machine, not the average.

  • The same architecture scales across your machine series. One kit design, multiple variants, without starting from scratch each time.

Complete Electric Powertrain Kit

Energy storage, electric motor, inverter, thermal management, charging and HV power distribution, pre-configured as one system and sized to your machine’s duty cycle. Every component is validated in Hevtec’s own development environment before it goes into your machine.

How to Choose an Electrification Kit for Mobile Work Machines

What Makes an Electrification Kit Fit the Machine?

Two electrification kits can have the same voltage, peak power and list of main components, yet behave very differently once installed in a machine. One may match the real workload, fit the available space and support the required charging cycle. The other may meet the headline specifications but create compromises in runtime, efficiency, cooling or service access.

The important question is therefore not whether an electrification kit contains all the expected components. It is whether those components have been selected and configured around the machine’s duty cycle, operating environment, charging strategy, packaging constraints and performance targets. A suitable kit works as one integrated and supportable system, not simply as a component list.

Start with the Duty Cycle

Peak engine power alone does not describe what an electric machine needs. Two machines with the same nominal power can have very different energy use, load peaks, idle periods and charging opportunities.

Without that picture, extra battery capacity or motor power tends to get added as a general safety margin. That raises cost, weight, cooling demand and packaging difficulty without improving real performance.

What Modular Should Actually Mean

Modularity should not mean forcing every machine into one fixed package. A modular kit should offer proven building blocks that are combined and sized around the machine: battery chemistry and capacity matched to the duty cycle, motor and inverter ratings that match the real workload, and interfaces that fit the available space and service access.

That is the difference between a kit that fits the machine and a kit the machine has to be adapted to.

Whether you’re considering a hybrid or fully electric solution, let’s talk!

Validate the fit early. Share your duty cycle, ambient conditions, and charging targets and we’ll sanity-check key components and outline a scalable architecture before you commit.

Fast Track Services or e‑Kit: which fits your project?

Fast Track Services are ideal when you need specialized expertise. If you’re looking for a modular electrification package and a faster route to a repeatable architecture, explore Hevtec e-Kit: the kit that fits.

Choose this if you have a specific powertrain challenge or your own engineering team, and you want expert support at the stages that matter: assessment, design, commissioning or lifetime support.

One team, one shared goal, with you in the lead.

Choose this if you want a complete, pre-configured powertrain system sized to your machine.

50% is ready before the project starts, 80% of the software is ready to integrate, and it scales as your machine series grows.

Both start from the same principle: the machine defines the system.
